Language translators and interpreters are always welcome at Choice Language Services. Our team are always happy to answer any questions that you have. Before you send your details through to us, we ask that you read the following to make sure that you are suitable.
The Right Documents
Before you apply, you need to have evidence of one of the following:
A degree, recognised diploma, or an MA in language translation, plus at least five years of translation and/or interpreting experience.
A degree and experience of working in a specialised field. This includes law, engineering, and finance. You also need at least five years of translation experience.
Translation Memory Tools
As a language translation business, we have invested heavily in Translation Memory Tools (TM) and SDL Trados™.
As TM tools are being used more often, it is a great benefit to have this software and become familiar with its uses. As part of our agreement with SDL, we allow our linguists to download a ‘lite’ version of the TM tools. You receive the software and prepared files to get you started.
